Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Responding to inbound calls and emails
- Preparing price quotes for translation and other related language services
- Maintaining strong relationship with all language experts (translators, editors, proofreaders,
etc.) to fulfill customer orders, providing full information on the project and provide any help
if needed by the language experts (by responding to their inquiries, providing reference
information, technical help, mediating disputes etc.)
- Review the translated documents from the translator and make appropriate changes to ensure
accuracy of content or right formatting
- Ensure customer satisfaction/quality, addressing issues, concerns, etc. – report any issues to
Operations Manager
- Enter customer information in appropriate databases/files and ensure information is up to
date
- Strong time management (to check and oversee projects in different stages of translation
process)
- Manage and use CAT software (Studio, MemoQ, etc)
- Eneter projects into project management system
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports for the Operations Manager
- Prepare invoices for clients
- Preparing payments for translators
Skill Requirements:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and activities within the office and efficiently allocating
time and resources
- An authentic team player with problem-solving and resourcefulness skills
- Interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and positive attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet and CAT Tools is strongly desired
- Experience with Machine translation and post editing is a plus
- Knowledge of different languages is a plus
Work Location : Edmonton
Salary : $25.00 per hour
Hours : 30 per week
Full-Time, Permanent Position
Experience : 2 years to 03 years
